Mission in Calgary is bounded by 4th street to the West and 17th Avenue to the North with the remainder of its boundary following the elbow river to the east and south. Mission features a beautiful main street along 4th street that stretches full north to south through the community. The main street host numerous shops and restaurants and is home to the lilac festival which draws thousands each year in late spring. The neighbourhood is home to numerous multifamily lowrise apartments as well as a few high rise luxury apartments varying in ages close to the rivers edge to the south. The neighbourhood has great access to any amenity imaginable and is one of the most walkable neighbourhoods in the city.
